CUT TO: INT. SPACE STATION Through the viewport, a swarm of electric-green DANDELION SEEDS is making its way through space. Looking out over
Lethe looked at the poster again – at that picture of the Cupid in spectacles, looking stern and heroic. Alarm bells were beginning to tingle, though she didn’t yet know why.
“Has Cupid #957 signed off on this?”
Celebration’s frown deepened.
“But – Romantic is #957!” he exclaimed. “Romantic-957!”
“But – ”
Lethe felt a buzz of warning and a buzz of intrigued excitement melding within herself. She stepped closer, moving a box from in front of Celebration’s face.
“But he’s a fictional character,” she continued. “Right?”
“Yes, I suppose so.”
“So who’s the real 957?”
