18Apr2017 DAY 3 Believe in the goodness that is all around you! It takes some level of mindfulness to appreciate even the mundane. Like noticing how ink behaves on different kinds of paper. I'm still having a love hate relationship with the fountain pen, so I have to remind myself to pay attention to it more. A lot of unfinished challenges, a lot of things to do and it's all valid reasons to wake up early. So stop over thinking, and take each days challenge as a reason to celebrate. I've still got a lot of boxes to unpack, shelves and racks to re-install. Having a limited work space as a current challenge. All the to-do list on top of the must-dos and the menial house chores could easily pile up, and it's one monumental chunk of task. Break things into bite size pieces, even when knowing how easily I get distracted. I have to train and constantly remind myself to focus. Busy busy mind, always a lot of things I want to do. This morning, I have to channel my morning thoughts and lay it down into calligraphy. I took out my kit and somehow relearn to tame the nib, to have control and never rush.
