Oil Lamps
I am once again stone and am stuck so here's this weird first kiss drabble I wrote for practice. It's technically aimed towards a fic on my main—so their no Y/N but also no defining features stated?
His eyes held a strong connection with her own, a mummed conversation in a language they, themselves didn't truly know yet. There was a slight tremble in her breath as it whispered, cool coffee tainted, across his cheek, and he knocked his nose into her, gently trying to curb her stress.
His hands, which rested on the table, caging her in, slowly approached her body, giving her ample time to stop him, though he'd remove himself them minute she asked. Her body pressed into his palms and he answered with warm lips searing his want across her shoulder. A hot, slow map soothing along her skin, easing a stifled whine from her lips.
He shaped a path up her thighs, up her sides, his left detouring to the dip of her spine while his right molded itself snug against her ribs. Neither stayed inert for long, both trailing in opposite directions, before backtracking in another direction. By his third trip orbiting her body like the sun, he carefully eased her over the edge and up on to the desk.
The blood rushed from her stomach to her limbs in an embarrassingly quick response to the slight press of his hips, leaving her suffocating on butterflies in her stomach and a buzz in her limbs. She wondered if he could feel her fingers trembled as they slipped into his hair, as she simply wanted to hold her answer to life. She felt the bite of his grip as he melted into her easy pull of her finger— he'd follow her beyond the stars if she wanted, but she was only trying to bring him close again.
She let him guide her arms up; slow and coaxing, pulling her like a spring breeze. His body puzzled itself perfectly between the gaps of her own, and it was like her soul relaxed, having found the perfect home. This is everything those late nights tinkering in the lab had been leading too— This sacrosanct moment, their own universe hidden right here and now in between them.
Still too sacred of a moment, he inched closer to her, needing guidance for their little space. He was so close, his lips almost ghosted hers as her spoke a simple plea of her name. That was all, but she understood just fine.
And their world erupted like a flame to oil, a flame so bright, it was sure to burn forever.
