By order of the Royal House of Sunwhisper, all elves and non-elves, are invited to attend the blessed union of the Lady Phoenix of Quel'Athillien (Lady Rennali Sunwhisper) and the White Lion of Quel'Thalas (Lord Valkrian Goldwing) under starlight and sunlight during the Festival of Lights. Through this union shall Thalassian elves find peace and prosperity and a return to the days before the darkened skies squelched the brilliance of Quel'Thalas. The union shall be a three-day festival to commemorate the blessing of the three feminine saints (Maiden, Mother and Crone) that she may produce an heir worthy of Quel'dorei and Sin'dorei alike.

The blessed union of the Lady Phoenix to the White Lion will take place on the white shores of Quel'Thalas. The wedding will commence at precisely 8 PM and all who are signed up for attendance should be there no later than 15 minutes prior. The ceremony will be headed by the religious leaders of the Sin'dorei and of the Alliance. Here, they will swear themselves to uphold unity, peace and seek the betterment of their world by being an example worthy for all to see.
After the union is completed, there will be a feast with song and dance for all to enjoy. Music will be provided via YouTube collection. We welcome cross-faction RP with all who are involved and ask that if there be any PvP (which is bound to happen), that it be taken away from the immediate party area. During the feasting, there will be a costume contest. The winner of the contest (Horde or Alliance) will be given 500g as a prize.
Rules of the Costume Contest:
You must have the outfit on the character that is attending the festival.
You will have 10 minutes from the time the ceremony ends to collect whatever outfit you have prepared.
Judging will consist of the following:
Degree of difficulty in obtaining the pieces
Color coordination
Originality (Are you wearing a tier set or a mix-and-match)
If you managed the look you were going for (theme)

After the marriage has been properly blessed and consummated, the couple will then retire for the second day of the wedding festival to take place in Quel'Athillien. Again, the religious leaders will be in attendance as well as the seneschals and nobles of Quel'Athillien to bear witness to the coronation of the Lady and Lord Phoenix. The coronation ceremony will consist of the acceptance of the Lord Phoenix into the lands spiritually, physically and regally. In accordance with Quel'Athillien tradition on such a momentous occasion, there will be a series of combat-style games to prove worth before the Lord Phoenix, who will then become the General of the Phoenix Guard - the personal guard of the Lady Phoenix and of Quel'Athillien in the domestic sense. (Music will be provided via YouTube.)
Rules for the PvP Tournament:
The "Dueling Tournament" (PvP) will consist of one-round elimination.
No healing or tanking specializations may participate. If you have a DPS specialization, you will use it.
You may not use any toon other than the one that attended the festival.
No buffs may be used other than the ones Blizzard has provided for your class.
This means no food buffs
No potions / elixirs
No friendly buffs from other players
You must have the gear you will be using on your person; we will not wait for you.
The blue marker indicates where the tournament will be held.

On the third, and final day of the wedding festival, the Lord and Lady Phoenix will retire themselves to the northern reaches of their lands to encourage a jousting tournament as a boon to welcome their strongest warriors to bless their union. Friends and family are encouraged to attend as well as compete for prizes and for the honor of a maiden. All unwed women will be attendants to the Lady Phoenix and will participate in a "date auction" of sorts. They will be paired off with random men and are encouraged to strike up conversation and merriment as this is to be the last day of the Lady and Lord Phoenix's solitary life.
Rules for the Jousting Tournament
The Jousting Tournament will consist of a two-round elimination.
All who attend the marriage festival are encouraged to participate.
You may not use any toon except the one that you have attended the festival on.
The Jousting Tournament will take place at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Northrend, though in-character, it will take place in Northwinter.
