SLEEP, Ichigo wasn't even sure what that was anymore-- several nights spent WIDE AWAKE, mind racing as fear, anxiety & all sorts of negative feelings settled a heavy weight on his chest-- on his shoulders. Day & night, he'd been trying to find a solution, a way to end the war & save the world from absolute destruction.

But when things kept getting worse & worse and he found himself unable to do anything about it, he was slapped with the PAINFUL REMINDER that he was still only a BOY ( one that didn't even fully comprehend the extent of the power inside him, couldn't completely control it yet either ). Though he may try, there was no way in hell he could take everyone's burdens away ( & place them upon himself instead ), he couldn't solve all of the world's problems.

He was FRUSTRATED.

"I appreciate your concern," he wouldn't mention however, the fact that he was certainly NOT getting enough sleep lately. No one had to know that. ( But soon they would probably be able to tell that he hadn't been sleeping well-- when the bags under his eyes became too prominent ). "I hope you're taking care of yourself too."

"Taicho..."

There's a surprised, somewhat taken aback expression on those pale features. This whole style of just blurting out such delicate things was so very Rose-like, yet Izuru couldn't help but think how he had such a hard time adjusting to it. How was it so easy for this guy to just be that open and honest about everything, he had no clue.

"It's not like I'm not accepting it... Sorry, if it comes across as such."

A sigh and an awkward shuffle later the lieutenant tried his best to speak out.
