something that scares your muse 

Flayn is scared of sleeping as I’ve said before- Flayn is very much scared of being forgotten as well, she is very well aware that can happen to her kind and it scares her deeply. Flayn worries that one day it will happen I kinda went over it more so here but yeah she fears sleep and being forgotten.

something that gives your muse hope.

As a goddess she has to have a lot of hope- at least she feels that way. She gets hope from those around her talking about Cethleann still as I’ve said she doesn’t wish to be forgotten so hearing chatter etc; of Cethleann makes her oh so happy. Not that she could ever flat out say ‘yeah I’m Cethleann’ but you know. I do heavily lean on the factor of Flayn’s support with Claude for the Cethleann topic, as I feel Flayn sees hope in Claude as he’s extremely smart and she very much believes he is able to give to the people and that makes her very hopeful.

Dimitri is another person that makes her hopeful- as again I’ve placed her in a Blue Lion route here, so in fact, most of the Blue Lion’s give her hope for the future etc; But I mainly lean on Dimitri as of course, that’s a big factor of the Blue Lion’s story and my bias would slip in haha. 

       Wanting to learn more about this new city, Pyrrha found her way to the library. She wanted to know the history of Koi, and she figured that this would be a good place to start. However, as she was still learning the layout of the city, the huntress to be found herself standing in front of Statice Library rather than Amaranth University like she had initially been shooting for. 

     Well, a library was a library, was it not? 

     Pyrrha stepped through the doors and breathed in the smell of books. It was comforting to know that even worlds away from home, libraries still smelled the same. The redhead made her way to the empty front desk. Craning her neck to see if whoever worked here was merely crouched, she leaned onto the counter slightly before falling back onto her heels.

    “ ultimate alleyway brawler ... “

a clenched fist pumps up into the air and yang displays a triumphant grin towards her little sister.

   “ the title is mine! “

as quick as she is to celebrate, she’s even quicker to gloat - ruffling the hair of ruby and chuckling “ better luck next time ‘ay rubes? “ her other hand finally unclenches from the joystick of the arcade cabinet and the flashing lights, noisy kids and ugly patterned floor finally come back into her reality.

    “ you sure you’ve been drinking your milk? because you definitely haven’t grown when it comes to trying to beat me at games! “

While it should no longer be a surprise how quickly the young woman made new bonds, she’s still touched when reminded that she wasn’t alone. It lifts her spirits just like the first time she flew. Bonds forged through the promise of adventure and setting off into the endless skies. She didn’t expect to feel that way here. Not for a while anyway.

The blonde does her best to contain her bubbling happiness. Djeeta worries her excitement might scare off the other girl and tries to reign it in. Her joy shows in a bright and radiant smile and a warmth through earthen hues. 

   “ rubes! “ of course she’s been expecting her sister to pop up eventually, this time of year was always one of their favourites - from the feasts, to the presents and to the good company. yang is quick to give ruby one of her signature bear hugs whilst she holds the present in her free hand.

unwrapping it with careless abandon it brings a small but warm smile to the blonde’s face to see the picture of team rwby framed - a team that had such a significant impact on her life, one that couldn’t be put into words … but a picture speaks a thousand words right?

   “ ruby … wow. thanks !! you always know how to bring a tear to my eye you little emotional rollercoaster - - “ and just as she’s about to give ruby a head ruffle, she spots remnant the game and her smile turns to a grin.

 “ awh NO way !!! how did you get this?! i am totally kicking you butt later - but for now why don’t you come on over and i can see the look on your face when you open my gifts! “

CHARACTER HEADANONS ✧ NOT ACCEPTING.

Claude doesn’t really have a quiet head. His brain is always working, whether it be plotting and planning, analyzing, or even just daydreaming. He usually thinks about the days events and what he has to do tomorrow before he falls asleep, though if the situation is stressful enough, he’ll do his best to clear his mind.

Recently, thanks to his circumstances, he’s been often wondering about how his home is doing, thinking about if time is passing over there or not, and honestly generally fretting about the circumstances despite looking so calm. It’s been a little hard for him to sleep.

The wares were quite unlike any he’d seen before. Technology far beyond the scope of his imagination awaited him, and the woman he’d run into, the owner, if he recalled, seemed quite enthusiastic and excited to tell him him about anything verdant eyes drifted upon.

Currently however, the conversation was not on the displays but on his own weapon of choice. Failnaught sat on the counter, still for once, and Claude did his best to field the myriad questions flung at him about the heirloom.
