At the cantina, Roja sat in his booth. Drink in one hand, the other resting on the butt of his blaster. Naturally, he had the corner seat, no one was sneaking up on him unless they blew a hole in the wall behind him, not that he was expecting that kind of trouble.

But you could never be too careful, even if you wore blaster-repelling armor at all hours of the day.

On the table in front of him was a bounty-tracking fob, faintly beeping, gently pulsing. The target was far away, currently quite safe in a deep dark hole, just waiting for the next fool to trip into it and die like the last seven bounty hunters the guild had sent after them.

Now it was his turn, but he wasn't quite stupid enough to try and do it alone, so he'd reached out to a... Recently-made contact of his.

That bit about the deep dark hole wasn't a metaphor, he needed someone with natural echolocation skills. Sure, the fob would point him in the right direction, but that wouldn't help with any traps, or any other life forms, or really anything but a particularly high-stakes game of Hot or Cold.

He needed a Togruta, and he happened to know one that liked him. At least, he was pretty sure she liked him.

That may have all just been for show, since when they'd met he'd tried to take her and her partner in for a bounty of their own.

Still, it was worth a shot.
