This wasn’t the first of his descendants the young boy had met. He wasn’t sure if they were real enough for others to see or just his imagination, but he had met Somnus and Optimus and others. They were always fun to talk to and usually had some sort advice to offer him. They were all pretty wise.

“AUGH.”

Coughing, he wiped away at the salt as he glared at Crepera.

A cruel chain of events; once he woke up and greeted by an unwelcoming face, per not being fully awake, nonetheless he didn’t approve too highly of it, ❛ Jesus  fuck - ! ❜ the effects of being startled subsequently set in, of what was the motion of throwing himself out of bed instead came a thump! -- Falling out of it in a scrambled manner, roughly landing onto the floor. A groan came afterwards, almost preferring to stay on the ground for a minute or 5. Anything to get the image out of his head; at least the pain and tending to the temporary ache assisted the beneficial side to his dilemma. 

“Finally, someone more tolerable than Pious and Mystic.~”

Slides another glass.

“I said one glass only, Crepera.”

“A pain in my...?”

He frowned before shaking his head. 

“....We’re out of wine...”

He brought forth the bottle they had been drinking from as he slumped down in his seat. He looked the bottle over before gently passing it to Crepera.
