Bad idea I won't ever make. Numero tres. My old acc got hacked so I think my ask could've been deleted so.
Trials of the Void, a roomslike game with combat elements and a little twist..
You navigate using echolocation. Basically, each sound in the game has a noisemaker, from that noisemaker, sound waves(seen as 2D on the player screen) will emit from it and bounce off walls and items. You can always see your own teammates, they are highlighter by a white outline.
The lore of this game is that there was once a thriving civilization, living above the surface of the world basked in sun. They had a prison, deep underground for the worst ever offenders, sealed with seals and hexes and many, many tunnels, so no criminal will ever escape. The prison didn't have cells, as prisoners were just thrown down into the cave. A small civilization of it's own emerged from deep underground and sprawled into generations of voidlings(species of the world) who are only here because of their ancestors.
And so, every 6 months, a trial is hosted where volunteers can try and escape their prison. They're never seen again, but their spirit lives, they're remembered as brave souls who tried and hoped for the best.
You are one of those volunteers, trying to pas the Trials of the Void.
Each playthrough, at the start, you are given to choose between 3 different sets of 2 abilities(like in Die of Death).
Abilities include but I might write down more: *Hexes- what I'll refer to monsters of this game as
Throwing knife: Has a 5 second cooldown, does a small amount of damage but can't stun and makes a small amount of noise when it hits something.
Machete: Fast melee, has a 5 second cooldown, makes a medium amount of noise when it hits something. Also stuns Hexes* for a bit of time
Axe: Heavy melee, has an 8 second cooldown, makes a loud noise when it hits something. Deals a lot of damage and stun time to hexes
Bow: Draw for up to 10 seconds, dealing more damage and stun time to hexes the longer you draw. Makes you walk slower while drawing, though.
Dash: Regular dash. What do you want me to say. Oh it has a 5 second cooldown
Charge: Charge up for 3 seconds and ram forward with decreased turn sharpness. Stuns Hexes for some time.
Adrenaline: Become faster for 15 seconds, though makes you slow down a lot after the speed boost ends.
Lyre/lute/other instrument: Hold to play. Makes a small amount of noise and slightly heals your allies in a small radius
Herb pouch: Stuns both you and the ally you want to use it on for 7 seconds. Heals the ally for 35% of their max HP.
Cloak: Makes you invisible and your footsteps not make sound. You're not visible to your teammates, but you aren't visible to Hexes either.
Gold: Works like Slugfish in Grace or Rush in Doors. Makes a metal screech noise before ramming through the room. Hide behind something to not get killed
Pyrite(also called Fool's Gold I think?): Gold but goes through the room multiple times, like 4.
Amethyst: Firewall hex. Chases you through several rooms. Said rooms have obstacles in the form of crystals rapidly growing through the walls(make noise)
Celestite: Hex with it's own special chamber(numbered 77). It constantly hums a melody, but is deaf. You need to collect 7 runes to open the door to escape the chamber.
Stalactite: Hex that makes a rumbling noise before crashing onto the ground. Anything near it when it falls takes damage.
AHHH COOLCOOLCOOL ........ asker you ever look into deepwoken ? /silly
