suddenly i cannot stop thinking about kenshi/johnny...i'm imagining all the banter and giggling like a lunatic. manifesting a scene where, after spending the entire time beating each other's asses and bickering, something happens and kenshi expresses some sort of concern. then johnny notices, acts like a smartass about it, and kenshi immediately is like "never mind i hate you and want you dead"

because let's be real, they're going to hate each other when they first meet (or Kenshi will notably hate Johnny, at the bare minimum) because of Sento. I mean, Johnny literally beats Kenshi up and ties him to a chair when they first meet. they're going to argue constantly over everything because they probably don't think that they see eye to eye on anything
but I just have a feeling that they're going to bond when they leave for Outworld and especially after Kenshi loses his sight. they're spending all their time together, and there's eventually enough trust for Johnny to lead Kenshi around. I'm hoping that they have some sort of heart-to-heart where they realize that they're really not that different, and it's a total shift in their relationship to something a lot more amicable, though still with playful arguments and teasing (likely from Johnny)
I've always felt like Johnny puts up a front to a point, so if he's legitimately upset about something, he's bound to push Kenshi away, no matter how close they are. he'll crack a joke or two to hide that he's stressed/upset/etc., but Kenshi sees right through it and tries to find a time to see if he's okay (once they're close enough, of course)
even outside of deflecting concern, Johnny is bound to say some stupid shit that'll have Kenshi regretting their alliance time and time again LMAO

honestly it depends??? like w/ val i basically came up with her entire character after seeing some gifs of lauren jauregui and then like w/ my saints row ocs that i’ve had for almost three years now i still don’t have faceclaims for them because i’ve just never found anyone that i think would Fit them
w/ faust i cycled through a few faceclaims because i had like. no idea what she looked like or what i wanted her to look like and it actually frustrated me a little bit kdhkdjhf but then i saw kaya scodelario and it kinda like. clicked into place i was like Oh shit there’s Deputy Dumbfuck right there
so don’t like. feel bad or anything if you can’t figure out what they look like because shit is just hard sometimes kgjhdfkjhdk i would say just like. don’t like stress it or use one that you don’t really like just bc you Feel obligated to have a fc or anything bc like the best fcs i have i just found from like randomly scrolling through tumblr and seeing someone that clicked with a certain character
