“but... that makes no sense! sensei’s not... short.”

Violet gave an annoyed huff as she looked down at the sewer her robber had just thrown himself down to try and escape her, why was this always so hard? if Violet went home smelling like a sewer her mom was gonna kill her because she’d know what she was doing, she always  knew. Violet sighed and jumped down into the gross water below her trying not to gag at the scent of it but she sucked it up and started hurrying through the endless maze of tunnels that were all exactly the same but Violet was smart, every time she came to a new path she marked it with her lipstick she had gotten from the mall earlier that day, well she could always get another one. Violet heard footsteps up ahead and picked up her pace hoping to catch up as she saw a shadow quickly turn a corner “Hey!” she shouted hoping to stop the culprit but it just seemed to make him go faster as she saw the shadow duck into another tunnel. “I said HEY!” she shouted again runing off again why did they always run? why did they always make it so difficult?
