“roddy idolized mick/the clash for the longest time and always said working with him was one of his biggest dreams. mick was also very sick prior to them working together and he mentioned that he really enjoyed listening to one of roddy's songs while in the hospital. a LOT of moments in interviews roddy talked about how enjoyable mick was and how nice it was to be around him. roddy wrote the only song they have together in 40 minutes after a 2 or 3 hour conversation with mick. he wrote a part in that song basically saying if you're not gay you're dull (it's much more deeper than that but... that is what it's saying). he also introduces this song as a "love song" in the live version of it. the picture they chose for that single kind of looks like they're kissing (especially because there's no microphone so they don't need to be that close???) roddy also mentioned in an interview he was being "very naughty" with mick?? every single video of them together they're always having a fun time. i think they really enjoyed working together. i could go on and on and on... they've taken over my life i live breathe sleep and eat them middy canon 2025 ❤️💚”
