#rocktographers

In case you missed it last week we launched our new website for Rocktographers.

Rocktographers is this little idea I dreamed up about bringing concert photographers and the community together to share and create. Since it’s inception it has exploded and now we are review festivals and concerts, interviewing bands, and shooting everything in between. 

With a slight rebrand and more of a focus on the media we’ve been doing since January the site is new and spiffy. While the media side of the brand has taken more of a focus on the website I am still 100% behind doing our yearly gallery shows (and expanding them into other markets). 

Check out all the hard work Kirsten, webmeister Bud, and I have been putting into this site lately. With more and more photographers contributing weekly. 

Pictures of pictures from my YYJ Rocktographers event this weekend.  The event was a huge success and we are already looking to the future of YYJ Rocktographers. Let's just say we are already in the works for YYJ Rocktographers 2: Electric Boogaloo. 

On Friday night we had around 300 people come through the door and Saturday we had folks constantly streaming through the door.  A big thank you to Al and Teresa at Vic 42, all the photographers, The Zone, and The Q, the bands, Hawk & Steel, Carlines, Adam for doing some interviews, and everyone else I'm seeming to forget right now.
