Chapter: AXL Design Documents, Abaddon Locust
Inti Creates had some amazing concepts for the MMZ bosses that never made it into the games or any other official material like audio dramas. One such fascinating scrapped boss was a locust mythos simply titled "Abaddon".
I loved this design so much I decided to give it a second chance in my Chapter: AXL (with some minor design tweaks). I gave it some sickly colors (pale bedge and green), big red eyes similar to Lumine's in their appearance, and a thousand of small crawling minions that it stores inside of its body to make the boss invoke a sense of disgust and dread. From that point on, it became known as The Lord of Calamity - Abaddon Locust.
Surely that isn't really original of a name, but it still sounds cool.
