         (    ↻    )    “  getting yourself into any trouble lately  ?  or has the snow temporarily put a stop to all that,  ”  freya lightly jests.  she slides the mug of coffee over to her cousin,  mirth dancing in her eyes.  “  i shouldn’t complain though,  you and a few other troublemakers are keeping me in business.  i bill you all by the hour.  ”

         (    ↻    )    “  i think i may have gone overboard.  ”  teagan finishes unpacking the last of the groceries she picked up on the way back to the apartment.  “  in my defense,  if we’re going to be stuck in the building all weekend then we may as well stay stocked up.  plus,  it’s soup weather.  who can say no to budae jjigae and mandu  ?  ”

         (    ↻    )    “  there’s no time like the present to start training.  i won’t sugarcoat it.  doing your own stunts isn’t something to take lightly.  there’s a lot that goes into it to make sure that you’re doing things safely,  ”  sloane starts.  “  besides,  there’s a snowstorm.  none of us are going anywhere so now’s the perfect time to start without any distractions.  ”

         (    ↻    )    the blizzard warning was  …  an inconvenience. with five other roommates and one washer dryer unit in the apartment,  lari decided to bite the bullet and avoid fighting over it by using one of the available units in the laundry room.  nimble fingers carefully fold the first load of dried laundry.  aside from the rhythmic thumping of the washer,  she takes solace in the silence.  however,  it’s interrupted at the sound of the door clicking open.  “  i guess i wasn’t the only one who thought  …  ”  lari starts,  words trailing off as she turns and sees that it’s joey who walked in.  “  oh.  ”  a polite smile is plastered on her face.  despite how much she tries to stop it,  the flutter in her chest is ever present.   “  hi.  ”
