Comments: Bless Grace as a disaster, but this fic does present the problem that Grace’s addition to the crew was so quick that some of his needs are unaccounted for - like an accurate medical record. I got the sence that this fic makes the assumption that Grace’s glasses were readers, and not something he actually needed. So spares on the Hail Mary? Not around. And Grace tries so much to deal, he doesn’t want Rocky to call him stupid and clumsy, but he totally is without the ability to see. It works out, and Rocky isn’t even pissed at him at the end.

Comments: Really enjoyed this! It makes sense that in their rush to get Grace on board, they might have overlooked a spare set of glasses. Or even, just didn’t have his Rx to put into the Mary’s system to manufacture another set. And I do appreciate how this story shows that glasses are a medical aid. Without a working pair, Grace, and the mission, is in trouble.
