Jay/Nikki - they keep things subtle and lowkey. I don't think either of them really buy into Valentine's Day, so they just spend the day together, watch their favourite movies and Ellie's at school/with the sitter so they have the place to themselves

Connor/Dylan - they cook breakfast together, Connor buys her flowers and in the evening they find a fairground and go for a few hours. They go on the rides together and play those games to win stuffed animals for one another and fill up on fair food

Andi/Kelly - Flowers for Andi, breakfast for Kelly. They take the day off so they can spend it together at the cabin and be uninterrupted. Evening time they go out for a nice dinner and a walk along the waterfront

Jade/Adam - Jade doesn't buy into Valentine's Day but Adam does so he tries to find a balance where he can show her the perks to the day whilst also not pushing his luck. Maybe gets her a small desk trinket and they go for lunch/coffee instead of a big, grandiose celebration. Baby steps, yk?

Will/TJ - This is assuming Baby hasn't been born yet, or its just after, but they'd keep it low maintenance and easy-going. He'd definitely send flowers and a box of chocolates to 51 to surprise her and then bring by lunch for the two of them. They have a cosy night in together :)

"Why are you looking at me like that?" TJ asked as she finished drying and putting away the dishes. Will was stood in the doorway, watching her with an unreadable expression.

"Because... I almost lost you... And now you're here, doing the dishes like nothing happened -" Sudden tears mixed with a nervous laugh and Tyler crossed the floor to pull him in for a hug.

"I'm not going anywhere, Will," she assured him as they stepped apart. She reached up and caressed the side of his face with a gentle hand.

"I was so scared," he confessed quietly, just about holding back the tears.

"Hey, look - your boy-toy is waiting for you," Sylvie teased with a grin as they finished restocking the ambulance. TJ looked over her shoulder to the forecourt of the Firehouse and saw what she meant. Will was parked up and leaning against his car, waiting for her.

"Shut up, he is not my boy-toy," she rebuffed and blew a strand of hair off of her forehead.

"Yeah, okay..." Embarrassed, Tyler opted to finish with the box of stock and head upstairs to get changed.

When she finally reemerged, bag over her shoulder and her comfortable post-shift outfit on, Will greeted her with a smile.

"You don't have to do this, y'know. People are gonna talk," she stated with a grin as she slowed to a stop in front of him.

"Let them talk. I'm all yours," Will replied as he leaned in for a chaste kiss in the spring sunshine. She laced her fingers through his and held their joined hands up for him to see.

"Y'see that? Our hands fit together perfectly."

Tyler - Will's resilience and ability to bounce back

Will - Tyler's perseverance to make a difference

Jade - he's smarter than he lets on

Adam - Jade is so good with kids (goes without saying)

Bailey - Matt ways gives 100% no matter what he's doing

Matt - Bailey's empathy for her patients

Dylan - the way Connor advocates for his patients

Connor - Dylan's protective streak

Jay - Nikki's no-bullshit approach to her work

Nikki - Jay's desire to be better, do more

Kelly - Andi's pride in her identity and the way she presents herself

Kelly - Andi can be hotheaded

Andi - Kelly let's his pride get the better of him

Jay - Nikki is stubborn

Nikki - Jay is stubborn 😂

Dylan - Connor values other people's opinions of himself a little too much

Connor - Dylan gets overinvested in her work and neglects to take care of herself

Jade - Adam gets ahead of himself, leaping before he looks, so to speak

Adam - Jade doesn't allow for emotional vulnerability

Bailey - Matt let's his work get in the way

Matt - Bailey gets overly attached to each case she works so it only ends badly when they don't make it

Tyler - Will takes himself too seriously, comes off as uptight

TJ had finally stopped panicking enough to confront Will. He deserved to at least know. Sylvie had offered to finish the paperwork for her, so she'd taken off in search of the redhead doctor.

"Will - Uh, Doctor Halstead?" He turned, breaking from the conversation he'd been having with a nurse and greeted her with a smile.

"Tyler, what's up?" As soon as she tried to open her mouth to speak, fresh tears welled and Will guided her to an empty room.

"What's going on? Tiger, talk to me?"

"I'm pregnant. It's yours, but I don't know what you wanna do or if you wanna be involved -" She was cut off by Will pulling her in for a hug. A comforting hand ran up and down her back.
