Christmas has come early for Tropical North Queensland events with a $277,000 funding boost. Member for Cairns Rob Pyne said the funding was part of Tourism and Events Queensland’s (TEQ) second round of the Queensland Destination Events Program.
The Palaszczuk Government will give $396,000 over 18 months to Act for Kids Cairns for a new intensive development program for children aged from birth to five years. Rob Pyne MP, Member for Cairns said the funding was part of a new intensive early childhood development pilot program to help families most in need of support.
