That’s odd. 

They swear they just felt Will fall asleep. 

    Ah well. Will is Will, contradictory in every logical way. They wouldn’t be surprised if he figured out a way to be both Asleep and Awake. He’s awfully clever like that.

     And, honestly, they still don’t quite understand this ‘sleep’ nonsense, so maybe it doesn’t work like they assumed. Humans are awfully odd.

Yoyo felt disoriented and achy when he woke up. Something was wrong. Terribly wrong. First of all, what had happened? Secondly, ouch! And that was the weirdest part since he wasn’t supposed to be able to get hurt like this. The boy tried to sit up, but everything hurt and he noticed the bandage wrapped around his torso. Bandage! He’d never needed that in his life!

i have to touch the driving hammer when i get in the car. watched mom do it ever since i can remember. its sat right next to the prndl and she touches it right after she puts on her seatbelt. when i got my license she got me my own so i can break out of a car if there’s an accident and now i have to touch it right after i hear my seatbelt click

i legit had to look up driving hammer because my first thought was “FUCK, we need a hammer to drive???” and...looking that up left me more confused..and then i looked up driving hammer slang and WHEW. DO NOT.

Also prndl makes me think of 

“As Green Lantern, it’s my job to protect the people of the universe. Even the lost ones. Are you alright, kid?”
