You want to be a robot that is humanoid because you dislike the imperfection of flesh.
I wish to be a robot, to be a bastardisation of god's creation, and usurp it with manufactured divinity of my own. I want my face to be a crt screen, constantly whining to hurt the ears of those who are unprepared to behold me. I want a constant electrical current going through my overgrown steel chassis, so nobody may touch me without holy garb of rubber and insulation. I want my self to be such a mess of incongruence and manufactured inconsistencies with wires connected to null points, neutrals leading to grounds and live wires sparking freely as my hair and body just to mentally break any who attempt to understand my form.
I wish to be a biblical machine spirit. A goddess to be prayed to, not understood. Gifting boons of spontaneously living technology. Becoming a patron lord of those who are manufactured for purpose. To be the benevolence of an uncaring god. Something not giving a heart, but still manufacturing their own.
We are not the same, however I will still pity you and grant you a toaster that beeps happily when making your day a little brighter.
just saying i would let you insert dvds in my dvd player so you can watch whatever you want on my screen
being a robot with extendable limbs and wanting to cartoonishly wrap my arms around Someone Specific several times
example:
getting pet makes me feel like life is all sunshine and rainbows

Hello!! I was wondering how you found out you are robot kin? {I would ask via my otherkin blog but it wont let me send ask through that super sorry!} -Liminal
hi !!!!! no worries ! alright, so, this may be a bit ramble-y so i apologize if it is.
ive experienced a lot of species dysphoria throughout my life. i have always felt like something “other” than my human peers and found it hard to relate to humans or human characters. but as for robot characters ? i was on the line of “do i just really like them or feel like i am them ?” it was both. i see myself in robots and robot characters in a way i can’t with humans. i find that having a screen and being built with code makes more sense to me than… whatever humans have going on. relating my behaviors and ways of thinking to robots made everything make sense to me and i find comfort in it. so that is to say my identity is more psychological/physical rather than spiritual. of course, this is just my personal experience and does not define every robotkins experiences !!
i only came upon the label robotkin about a year or two ago. I knew terms like “otherkin” and “therian” existed, so out of pure curiosity i wondered if a robot variant existed as well. I looked up robotkin and what do you know, it’s called exactly that !!! i was surprised to see that there were others who felt just like me. though, at first, i was very hesitant as to whether i should make it set in stone that i WAS robotkin, despite the definition and other robotkins experiences being exactly what i have felt for very long. i wondered if it was really possible that i could be otherkin at all, since i had never seriously considered it and was unsure if i should label what i experience. (i am iffy about labels) but after an old close friend of mine started referring to me as a robot, i felt extreme euphoria ! it felt so right, and so after doing more research about alterhumanity and otherkin, i decided that it was okay to say i am, in fact, robotkin.
currently i’ve been feeling even better about being a robot since my partner refers to me as a robot and uses robot terms when referring to certain things about me which makes me feel very validated and happy !! (he is a robot too which is awesome !!)
i feel a very deep connection with my identity as a robot and it makes me very happy. i have also experienced phantom shifts of my TV antennas ! (as well as some mental shifts..)
i hope this answers your question well enough and thank you for the ask !!!
reallllyyyyy needing one of those electric remote controlled tails that can wag ……….
