because of the glass head and the claws and the pose (look at the legs!!). but it doesn’t have the bubbly body so idk. could be a case of robby getting so famous in pop culture that he inspired designs of other famous robots… that are skinny.

anyway. i don’t know much about ur robots so u can decide if it’s a faux reference or not :3 i just think it looks similar to this robby image from the wiki link:

especially with its height and the fire/explosion in the background

OH YEAH the episode is “Apprentice - Part 2” in season 1 :) and u can’t see it completely but on the top left corner of the comic it says “Si-Fi” (sci-fi) so that definitely. helps

This does look like a pretty varied design combining multiple common robot elements/tropes BUT that type of transparent glass dome head (especially with the squareish innards and the grate below) is uncommon enough that I would’ve noted this as loosely Robby-inspired myself!
