I just found out Robomi’s not actually a robot! She’s not even that thing where you create an exact copy of somebody who’s always been a robot. She’s a cyborg. Fragments of a human brain in an advanced full body prosthesis. Super Cool!
I like that touch that there’s not even a full human brain in there. She’s so far gone, deliberately stripped of everything that wasn’t relevant to being their perfect weapon. In the flashbacks it sounds like her people were capable of doing versions of this that preserved much more of you. But at the core it’s still her. Fundamentally she’s still the one steering this machine.
