The goat, the werewolf, and the bird
Surwich was quiet and of the way, exactly the reason why Gin had chosen to make her home there after the fall. Portal travel was faster, but the panicking boy from another world now sitting at her kitchen table clearly needed a break from magic. Not that riding a large, flying, two-headed creature was much more calming, but it was the lesser of the two evils.
â âEre yâare, mate,â the mug made a soft clink as Gin set it in front of Robin, balancing one toddler on her hip as the other and a wolf stared intently at the stranger.  â âS jusâ tea, buâ it should âelp yer nerves a bit.  âScuse me while ah make a call, yeah? Leave âim be, Grim.â
Gin stepped towards the stairs, keeping them in her sights as she spoke into the black communicator. Jon stared at the stranger with his bright green eyes for a few moments longer before stepping forward and offering him the rock that was in his hand.  âFounâ a pwetty wock ousside...issa pwesnt foâ you.â
Gin came back a few moments later, smirking at the sight as Rose kept her head on her shoulder, staring at Robin shyly.  âThaâ wus mâmate Aren...said âeâd be over soon.â Roseâs eyes lit up at the mention of Aren, lifting her head slightly.  âFeel like ah should give ya a fair warninâ, though. Um...Aren âs...noâ âuman.  âMember thaâ priestess with thâorns when yâfirsâ woke up? Arenâs thâsame race - Draenei.â
Gin sat down across from Robin, setting the toddler on her lap.  âYâalrighâ?â
