The library is the least likely place to find the young Avatar, reading big, heavy books wasn't really her thing. Yet here she was, peering down each aisle with intent. She'd been told that this library contained knowledge from all kinds of worlds, maybe even ones about this city. The more she understood the better the chances are of her getting out of here, so despite the reluctance she presses on.
Although curiosity peaks when she comes across a book opened up on one of the tables. The front cover is odd, and written within are some strange descriptions. She doesn't think there's any harm in reading aloud those words...of course she couldn't have been more wrong. "Let's see...grant me the power of holy lightning and rain judgement upon this foreign land...that doesn't sound too friendly." Little did she realise as sparks begin to fly from the book. "Huh?" A bright glow emitting from the pages, cracks of thunder are heard and she realises too late that her words have erupted some sort of spell. "Oh! Oh no um...cancel! Stop? Er..." failed attempts to cease the onslaught of small sparks that were gradually getting bigger. In the end she snaps the book shut and throws it out the nearby window, a large explosion is heard not long after.
"Phew, that could have been bad...what kind of book was that even, definitely not kid friendly," or Korra friendly. It's then that she turns back to see a woman standing there, a similar book in her hands.
"Um...that wasn't your book was it?" The one she'd just thrown out the window.
