@unlicenscd AU where Robert Lives.
It had been the night of a lifetime. However, that lifetime was cut short.
Last night was the Grammys, a big night for anyone who happened to be in the music industry. Robert Charm had been one of the big winners, bringing home three Grammys. It was a win Trans people, it was a win for country music, it was a win for Robert. His career had peaked, and he was at the top of the charts for two months running.
But like anything good, it all had to come to an end? Right? It was 6 am, time for breakfast for most people, But Robert had never gone to sleep. Only having just made it to his hotel room with his manager Ruby. He thought ti was a little strange how she made certain nobody else was allowed back to the hotel with him. Normally they had the band join them, or some friends. And he had many friends at the awards but he interacted with them all at the after party.
Ruby was sweet all night to him, making him feel like a big man, like he was a star that would shine bright for forever. As they stand in the hotel room, that is littered with gifts and balloons, all to celebrate his big success. Thats when she caught him off guard in several ways.
Ruby never loved Robert, she simply loved how much money he was able to make her. And killing him would not only keep him on the number 1 spot for a very long while. But it would escalate his success, putting him in a legendary peak since Madonna.
One moment he was taking off his suit jacket, the next moment her hands were roaming his chest, and she was giving him a smile. One he enjoyed, as Ruby didn’t often smile. he was being lured slowly into her trap, but his mind didn’t think anything bad was about to happen. He was so tired from the night before, and the drinking and the partying, he couldn’t imagine what was going to happen next.
She pulled him down by his bolo-tie and kisses him passionately. He was enjoying the kiss, feeling his body begin to relax after such a long night. But then, there was a terrible pain in his back. One he couldn't’ even gasp to react too. His eyes shot open and he feels his knees go weak as his body begins to slump over. he can hear her cooing words to him, but the ringing in his ears was so loud he couldn’t register what she was saying.
Ruby had stabbed him with a dagger in his back. He feels her kiss to his temple as she then shrugs him off her and he falls to the hotel room floor. And from then on, everything went black.
It was a tragedy, and his body was taken to the nearest mortician to be examined and dealt with. Such a star to brightly shine, being snuffed out so quickly.
he lay there on the metal table, a sheet covering his most vital of areas. What was alarming was, even in death, he sure could hear what was going on...He was dead..Wasn’t he?
It’s haunting being roused to live by you’re own voice. It played on the radio, echoing throughout the mortuary. Robert feels a sharp pain in his chest, cutting him and that's when his eyes fly open and he gasps for air.
Bright florescent lights blind him, and the pain in his back from being stabbed hurts like hell, but so does the man who was standing over him cutting into his chest about to “finish the job.”
Robert isn’t sure how he is alive, especially after being declared dead, but he’s not too happy about it. One should either remain dead, so not to deal with the pain, or remain alive in order to get though it. Not this in-between shit that leaves everyone confused. If he wasn’t in so much pain, Robert would of slapped the shit out of the Mortician, but it isn’t the mans fault. it’s gods.
“G-gotta write a song about this experience I-I’ll tell you that much.”
His voice is shaky, and weak, and tears fall from his cheeks without his consent. But it’s the pain’s fault for those.
