One of the things I love most about making art/art journaling is the impermanence of it. Sure, glue dries. Paint, for the most part, once you put it down on paper itβs a part of your journals life foooorrreeevvveeerrr. BUT you can always cover it up or even tear it out if you really hate it. This is a great example of that. Scroll through to see the before. Using one of @robenmarie botanical art papers I saved this eyesore from making me cringe every time I look through this journal. I could have just glued those printouts down and called it a day because theyβre so beautiful. π But I did end up adding an old picture (a photocopy of a tintype) and some ephemera.
