There are often things that we think we need to set goals for what in reality we just need to go do

Gratitude is the defense against impulsiveness. When you're grateful, you're satisfied, and when you're satisfied, you don't look elsewhere for something you don't need.

It wasn’t the moment when I realized I knew how to trade, ‘cause I thought I knew how to trade, like on day 1. And I realized later on, and I still feel to this day, I don’t really know how to trade, I know how to manage risk. When you wake up one day and you realize you never again are gonna blow up you’re trading account, then you know you have arrived. Not when you wake up and you know where the market is going, ‘cause you don’t. As much as you think you do, you don’t.

All negative things can be used for good.

Perseverance is doing what you're supposed to do when you're supposed to do, without complaining about it.
