Dear Europe, I’m playing an exclusive show at Roadburn 2018 at 013 Venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands.

‘Seasons Of Life’ is a set of four 9”x24” silkscreen prints that I’ll be bringing to @fullbleedexhibition at @roadburnfest in a couple of weeks time! Masterfully printed by @brlsq on French kraft paper using seven colours including metallic bronze. ————————— FULL BLEED is a very special art show at @roadburnfest, in the Netherlands, based around the family of artists who have connected through their collaborations with screen printers Burlesque Of North America (@brlsq). I’m extremely proud to reveal my first poster in a set of four, for this years @roadburnfest. It’s a huge honour to have been invited to be this year’s official poster artist for this very special festival, especially knowing those who’ve gone before. Each poster in my series follows a stage in the journey through life, the first here representing ‘birth’. This has been a huge project to undertake and has been quite a journey in itself. A big thanks to Walter and Becky for their trust, guidance, and most of all patience! Now I can’t wait for the festival. #roadburn2018 #richeybeckett #penandink #illustration

I'm extremely proud to announce that I'm taking on the role of 'official poster artist' for ROADBURN 2018! Here are some words I wrote for their official site.. ""Being invited to create visual artwork for this year's Roadburn is a tremendous honour. Roadburn isn't just another heavy music festival, it's something that over the years has evolved into a pilgrimage of a worldwide community; a celebration of music, the creative spirit and camaraderie. The artists who've gone before me are some of the most talented and passionate people I know.. so to be handed the torch, knowing how much it means to them, is something very special indeed. I'm very excited to create and share the ideas I have for Roadburn '18 over the coming months leading towards the festival." The image above is a small teaser I created for the announcement and I have a lot planned for the months building up to the festival. This year's line up is to be curated by the great @jbannon and we're being treated to two incredible sets from the mighty @converge.
