22. Are you living or just existing? How do you know? 

Well to you I ask: is there a meaningful difference if we can’t tell the two apart?

Is there a reason to be more proud of ‘living’ if you are happy with existing unremarkably?

Living and existing coincide. When I, say, enrich my life with things that make me engaged, passionate and excited, I’m living. But simply existing, petting my cat or making a meal, is still a good thing and of no less value for being ordinary or ‘going through the motions’.

My two best friends.

My cat.

My family.
