Over the holidays, a great gift was presented: Prof Alan Brown’s father took his first BJJ class. Mr Scott Brown has been a supporter of our program for over 10-years, going to tournaments, watching class, seminars, camps, you name it and he has been to every one - as a spectator / supporter. One of the biggest privileges as an instructor is the opportunity to guide someone in their journey from white to black belt. For these two gentlemen, it was between 13-14 years. Over that time, they become more than students, the are family. We have seen our kids grow-up, overcome obstacles together, and shared many successes.
