this was so hard because I literally have fcs upon fcs that would be romy babies.... so I made you two. bless.

- name: Evangeline (though I’m sure more often is called bébé ou princesse)- likes / dislikes: fireworks, sitting on Remy’s shoulders, cooking hoecakes with Rogue on Sunday mornings/the cold and winter in general, when Remy and Rogue fight, that they wear their tights for two minutes and holes “magically” appear in them- first word: Maman (because we all know Remy narrates to Evangeline everything Anna does as if she’s competing in a beauty pageant and she’s his favorite contestant, even while she’s doing something as simple as folding laundry or making a bottle)- appearance: probably doesn’t own pants, should probably carry a box of bandaids around, adamantly refuses haircuts, is that paint in your hair?- which parent they look more like: Remy- which parent they like more: they could never choose- height once fully grown: 5′2- job ambition: artist- faceclaim: Jemima West

September 3rd, 1985

Classes are goin’ about as well as expected. The kids fly out their chairs as soon as the bell rings, or seconds before like clockwork. It doesn’t feel like home yet, but it’s still nice. Nice knowin’ where I’m sleepin’ tonight, and where to find a warm meal. And nice to see the same familiar faces face smilin’ at me in the hallway. 

Have to keep tellin’ myself it ain’t worth the risk, it’d be too easy to hurt him. I’m not entirely sure he’d be as fond of me if he’d seen what I’d done to some folks, especially folks who gave me the same eyes he does every day.
