If she wants this to work then she and Quentin will have to play at pretend, act as if this is a serious commitment between them even though he's nothing more than hired help. She tells Cesare that she'd expected to see him here, which might have given everything away, but then, looking at Quentin, she smiles. "Introduce yourself, love. Tell him who you are to me."

Cesare is the most perceptive man she’s ever known. Maybe he’ll see through it, but that won’t stop her from having a bit of fun. “Cesare Borgia. I expected you would be here.” Then, looking at Quentin, she smiles. “Introduce yourself, love. Tell him who you are to me.”
