im doing this based on the “its been a crazy two years” “especially since it’s only been 24 hours” lines

1 in-game year is 12 hours. theres 8760 hours in a year. 8760/12 is 730. so thats how many in-game hours there are per irl hour. 730/60 = 12.1. so a day cycle is about 12 minutes long. a minecraft day cycle is 17mins, 10 for day and 7 for night, so this seems normal enough

im starting this ‘how long did they play for’ from when they adopt link as their baby bc they were obviously only playing for like 3-4 days before this.

soo they show 7 virtual years later and then its 6 more virtual years (making trench 13) when vanessa/earl abandons the family. 13*12=156. and 156hours is 6.5 days. 

they then play without vanessa/earl for 17 more virtual years until rhetts in-game chara dies. 17*12=204hrs. 204/24= 8.5days
