I personally like it when Walter isnt the straight man in a dynamic I think it’s much funnier if that happens. I think it’s his reaction style that feels flat, Kermit and Sam get exasperated, fozzie breaks down, rizzo snarks back, uncle deadly and scooter scheme around it- I think that Walter trying to justify the absurdity would be pretty fun. But personally I think that Walter just needs to be pushed more if he were to be used in a regular bit of the series, he works great as a grounding character in a movie
