ever since i saw the announcement that this group of vtubers i’ve literally never heard of was doing a concert/meet n greets at my local con, i’ve been following this little pink vtuber guy like a duckling 😭 when i started drawing him, i was HOOKED dude

for the first time since i started drawing, i loved it. i genuinely adored drawing riyo, no matter if it looked bad in the end or if it didn’t match my other styles just right, all i knew is i wanted to draw him, so i was going to. i started creating actual finished pieces because i found ways of rendering that i enjoyed from practicing with riyo so much. i started to realize that it didn’t matter who liked my art as long as i liked it. if i wanted to draw the same vtuber 5 times in a week, i could!!

drawing riyo gave me my passion for art back and i couldn’t thank him enough :(
