“Now taking invitations to brunch. I like my eggs sunny-side up and my mimosas with a splash of vodka. I don’t do hats or pastel shorts.”

Sadie was leaned against one of the buildings that made up her school’s quad. She was flicking through her phone, cigarette in the other hand, when she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Body immediately tensing, she turned to see who it was; breathing out a sigh when her eyes landed on the approaching person. “Oh. You. What do you want?”

“Honestly after this long week I need a pedicure, a glass of wine, and to binge the Kardashians,” Everly explained to the other as she circled her straw around the bottom of her passion fruit tea. “Was your week any better? Or was it filled with enough Issues that Julia Michaels is singing about it?”

Blake sat at the local diner, before him he had a plate of fries and a chocolate shake. He was trying to pair up people who need someone to take the ACT for them and people who took the ACT for people. 

“Are bloody marries really good for a hangover?”
