The truth behind the plans of the Mekong River dams.
In a fairly recent YouTube video post, LAO News has discussed the plans of the Xayaboury Power Company’s dam. With diagrams, lectures, facts, and animated cartoons, they display their plan for created an ecologically safe hydropower system on the Mekong River. This is a dispute video against the many public forums and clear majority against the building of the dams. The French fish company, Compagnie Nationale du Rhône, was hired to create the fish passageway that would allow fish to safely migrate through the dam without harm. Xayaboury Power Company also states that they are building a fish hatchery to make up for any mishaps during construction. This presentation seems well organized and formatted, and the impression that actual research and planning went into the project was sent across.
