i'm very interested to use law to explore those grosser ideas, albeit a little more introspectively. back in october, i actually had a scat prompt that i thought might suit law, and i'm eager to write more necrophilia and icky grossness too. there's something very freeing about writing through them :)

Hey I don't know if you're familiar with DnD but if you are, what class do you think Ren Strade and Law would be in the DnD universe? Examples, Ren seems to me to be more of a rogue or assassin bcs of his agility and flexibility? :p
i'm actually writing a DnD campaign (or trying to) as we speak, so this is in my wheelhouse!
ren is, as you identify, a beastkin rougue with proficiencies in perception, persuasion, insight and sleight of hand. he isn't a typical rogue who uses his cunning or agility (though he has it in spades) to dupe his opponent, he more so focuses on his charismatic nature and capability to arouse sympathy to lower their guard.
lawrence is an ambivalent elven druid with proficiencies in medicine and arcana. they can shape-shift into a deer which mostly means they can get away from conflict quickly, but they often get "medicated" and stay as a deer for hour at a time...it's just more relaxing that way, you know?
strade is a dwarven fighter with proficiencies in history and insight. he's a little lazy for a fighter but he's a natural born leader and isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. depending on your campaign, i think being an artificer would suit him also.

ren would obviously be very accommodating and secretly thrilled about having a partner who age regresses. how could he not be? he loves playing caregiver, he loves spoiling his partners/captives with things they like (toys, stuffies, what have you <3), and he LOVES someone depending on him to their detriment <3 "i hope you know you can't fight me now, sweetie. and, you know, you're obviously not going to see the real world again. you're too little for that! but it's okay! I'll look after you forever and ever <3" π¦
lawrence would also be pretty accomodating. apart from the autism 4 autism understanding of age regression as a coping skill (they might have similar inclinations in that respect), they also want you to depend on them and rely on them more than anything else, so obviously they'd enjoy anything that would assist with that. granted, they're not the best at providing for you, barring, like, a plushie they'd buy for you at the gas station, so hey, at least they're thinking of you! but there'd be some mutual understanding there :) π₯
strade. um. uh. strade wouldn't get it. like, just pretty fundamentally doesn't get it. wouldn't understand the impulse at all, and would almost primarily use it against you, because he thinks it's strange and weird. rude! π¨
