I may not play Rivals of Aether (my laptop is a potato & will likely explode if I ever try to actually play games on it), but I've always loved the designs of the base characters and especially the inclusion of some of my fave Indie+ characters (Ori from Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps was what really got me to take a peak at the game in the 1st place, and only recently have I started taking notice of other characters like friggen Yoyo from olde RHG animations <3 )

Back in 2021 I was working on a Rivals of Aether mod that added Vivian from Paper Mario as a playable character. I've always wanted to come back to it, but it dawned on me recently that I likely never will. So, instead of letting her go unnoticed I figured I'd upload what I made so far in case anyone would like to use it for their own projects, etc.
In the folder (check the reblogs) I'll include the full spritesheet, as well as the original moveset concept art and the most up-to-date copy of her scripts.
You ofc have my blessing to do anything and everything with these sprites. If you wind up making a full mod out of them I would love if you'd credit me - and tell me too! It would bring me a ton of joy to see these sprites I worked so hard on get a good home.
