R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on November 15 via Universal Pictures. The 2022 supernatural action comedy is a prequel to 2013’s R.I.P.D.
Paul Leyden (Come Back to Me) directs from a script he co-wrote with Andrew Klein (MacGyver), based on the 1999 comic book by Peter M. Lenkov and Lucas Marangon. Jeffrey Donovan, Penelope Mitchell, Jake Choi, Richard Brake, Kerry Knuppe, Rachel Adedeji, and Evlyne Oyedokun star.
No special features are included. The trailer and synopsis can be found below. You can also watch the first eight minutes of the movie here.
R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned is better than R.I.P.D., but only on that basic level in which any movie not starring Ryan Reynolds is better

RIPD 2 is better than the first movie. Not saying much.
Donovan at least isn’t phoning it in but Mitchell’s French accent is… meh. Script is pretty underwhelming.
As if I wasn't mad enough about all the shitty reboots and sequels I turn on Netflix to see RIPD 2.
so I actually enjoyed ripd2. its not ben hurr or I will say not as good as the first. but I still enjoyed it and can say its worth watching. sadly there are no coyotes. which Im sure roy appreciates. you gotta like westerns and I think you gotta like roy. Im sure roy will like you too.
watch part 1 first. which is weird to say about a prequel.
