Around 15 years of desperately doing everything in my power to keep using this backpack. This backpack has been an absolute treasure to me. We've been through hell and back together. I've repaired it, and it has repaired me in some cases. The @ogio x @nvidia backpack that I got back around the time i got my 8800 Ultra has been a staple of my lifestyle ever since i got it. We've been through highschool and college together. We've ran businesses, built drift cars, raced drones, and travelled the world together. We've made friends and even lost friends and family along the way together. Anyone who knows me personally, also probably knows this backpack. It's weird because I feel like this has become an extension of my being. Sadly, that extension has had to have been cut off today... over the past few months I have not been using this pack much due to human malware, and when i pulled it out of storage, it had finally given up the ghost. Time... had finally caught up. Corrosion resulting in holes and brittle fabrics, mold, and some other unworldly sights awaited me when I pulled it out onto the floor that confirmed that it was now beyond repair. All of this after all of the effort I've spent taking care of it... I guess i never even realized just how much I loved this backpack, but now that it's been forcibly retired by the cruel mistress that is time and reality, I feel like I've lost something very tangible and very close to me. With so much time, memories, and miles spent together, I believe I have more memories with this backpack than I do with any one single human.
