10. What is something (or someone) you’re in love with?

My cousin was found shot to death early Sunday morning (Sept. 15th). She FB messaged me Saturday afternoon to set up a time to come visit me where I live. I told her to keep me posted so I would have free time to take her around and see some of the sights. That was around 3pm. And several hours later, her life would be snuffed out.

She was my first cousin's daughter and I hadn't met her in person yet. Her father, my cousin, had her when he was young and he was shot to death in his early twenties. So once she got older, she reached out to his side of the family to establish some connections.

And now she's been killed in a similar manner to her father. A young single mother with three kids, working hard and making a way for herself. And I can't help but cry. Because life just feels like a cruel joke right now.
