"Psst, Alys," Cass surreptitiously waves at her from his place in the kiddie pool they all set up to combat the heat. Kian, a victim of the sun, had long since fallen asleep after getting in. With the water getting warmer, it would soon be time to give it a refil, but Cass has a better idea. He leans forward as he whispers, not wanted to wake Kian. "Should we add bubbles this time?"
Alys, dawning her signature heart-shaped sunglasses, leans back against the plastic of the pool and rests her legs on a sleeping Kian's lap. She'd spent her time playing with a water gun, aimlessly shooting around until Cass caught her attention. His suggestion brought a grin to her face and she glanced over at Kian before whispering in response. "Absolutely. Let's add as many as we can." If all goes according to plan, their best friend is sure to drown in a mountain of bubbles. Not that they're attempting to commit Kian's ultimate demise, but if he doesn't wake up then he's sure in for a surprise.
