Maya, well after she's in a relationship with Bennett, slowly starts breaking down her grieving walls. Kurt's gun and knife move from next to her spot in bed to ontop of a small memorial she makes in a corner of the penthouse living room. She stops wearing his dogtags and hangs them above her dresser where a small picture of the two of them is stuck to the wall. Kurt had left behind a BD of his memories - edited to only reveal to her their time spent together and how much he truly did love her. She stops watching it every night. It only gets enjoyed on holidays and the anniversary of his death. His clothes get moved to their own small closet and out of the one she eventually shares with Ben. She stops wearing Kurt's main shirt to bed and instead gets it made into a small throw pillow that sits on the couch. Life slowly returns to normal. She slowly becomes happy and inlove once more. Memories of her late lover stop being so sad and become more happy and fond to look back on. And she stops feeling so guilty for trying out the whole love thing again.
