WYD Volunteer!!
I'm extremely happy right now!
I found out a few weeks ago that I had been accepted as an international volunteer for WYD in Rio next year, and now things are becoming real. I got an email this morning with news and updates and stuff and what I have to do next; send in the documents. It also said there would be a template coming for the letter I would have to get my Bishop to sign, and that came this afternoon too. So I have now teed up a meeting with my Bishop for Friday morning, and have sent them the email so they can get it ready and things. Come Friday, I'll be moving on even further.
I'm really excited, I kind of did this on a whim, not knowing anyone else who is going to Rio as a volunteer. Would there be interest in me making a separate blog for the whole process of becoming a volunteer for WYD? Would anyone be interested?
