Noisy. That was the best way Rin would describe his neighbor. He was right next store to him and for whatever it's worth he was very different than himself. Rin considered him lazy. He got up late, but he was always up late at night during odd hours. Mostly due to his well.. Whoever they were. He certainly wasn't alone that was for sure. Rin heard every sound of that. They played loud music, cooked together, and we're always laughing. For some reason it always irked him. The redhead was busy. He worked his fingers to the bone when he wasn't at home and when he simply wanted to relax all he could hear was his neighbors throaty laughter barely muffled through the walls. Rin never said anything about the noise. When he did see him on rare occasions he had a great smile. A smile that made him forget why he disliked the guy in the first place. But one night the noise was anything but happy laughter and music. Now it was yelling. Angry. The two voices clashed and it sounded as if things were thrown against the wall Rin shared with the neighbor. Everything ended with the door slamming shut. He didn't hear the laughter since then. No more music was played, nothing prevented him from glorious 8 hour nights of sleep. The strange thing was that he missed the laughter a bit. The other day when they had both been out to grab their mail at the same time the dark haired man, Yamazaki, he didn't have that smile anymore. It was just a pressed line. Rin was currently sitting on his couch waiting for his rice to finish cooking. Chewing on the inside of his mouth he didn't understand why he had this urge to god next door but before he could finish the thought his body had already taken him there. He rapped quickly on the door as he waited for it to open. When it did he froze for a second like a deer in headlights. "Hey, um, I noticed.. Well you've been really quiet lately and... I- I made a lot of food tonight. Would you like to come over?" He asked, blurting everything out. Smooth Matsuoka. needsous
