Made a second fanart of @strangegutz s leather daddy wolves. Lovely stuff~~

I made this to explain how I do rim light / flare effects on my concept art pieces and some portraits and I'm sharing this here too. Pretty much the image is self explanatory but it's a combo of layer modes to get that rim light effect. I use it to for high contrast glows, such as internal lava glow and stuff. Mostly flashy visual effects.

This is explained with CSP in mind, but you can do this in Photoshop as well (and I hope in Gimp and other software). Always use Clipping layers, they are key here! In Photoshop you have to put the BLACK LAYER in Linear Dodge (Add) to get the same effect. Also, you have to look for this small circle to add a Gradient Map layer.

This was commissioned by COWCAT Games in time for the console release of BROK The Investigator... today! Originally they requested just a shaded sketch, but it didn't feel right without Graff's iconic hoodie, so I added some flat colors free of charge. :3

I tried to do something that was a mix of both my style and how Graff looks in-game, and this was the result!
