2. things you said through your teeth

they don’t get mad. they don’t fight. they’re scott and stiles. stiles and scott. they’re endless. so much has changed in scott’s life in the past year, but stiles, stiles is forever. he’s something like family, something so close to the heart that he’s there with every breathe.

“stiles,” scott says, as if saying his name will somehow diffuse the situation, calm the wild hair and the frantic eyes. “stiles.”

“just don’t, scott,” stiles says. “i don’t know how much more of this i can fucking take. i- i can’t breathe anymore.”

“i know,” scott says. “i know, but it’s going to stop.”

“no,” stiles says and there’s such a finality to it that it almost takes scott’s breathe away. “it’s not ever going to stop.”

“why are you mad?” scott asks, because he just- he doesn’t understand this stiles that looks at him like that, like they’re standing on a cliff and he’s about to jump. he’s used to stiles being the strong one. 

“i’m mad because i love you,” stiles says through clenched teeth.

the statement hangs in the air between them for a moment.

“you’re my brother, scott,” stiles says, but that doesn’t explain why scott’s heart is pounding so fast in his chest, why his insides are twisting in his chest, why every part of him feels attuned to stiles, as if they’re cosmically linked.

“and i’m just tired of being scared all the time.”

he won’t meet scott’s eyes.

“i know,” scott says, takes a step closer, doesn’t know why it feels like he’s leaping into the void, like everything is changing.

I get what you’re saying though, so I understand :) When she was first introduced and in the beginning of season 4 I would totally agree since we didn’t really know her and already she was everywhere. I didn’t really trust her since I knew she would leave my favorites in a heartbeat but now shes really grown and I trust her character a lot more bc they are finally her pack I guess. But I do get where you are coming from :)
