Soft crackling of flames filled the whole place. Destroyed spaceships had mixed with smashed buildings and wildlife of all sorts. Quiet steps mixed with the sound of claws touching metal and stone. Those sounds belonged to a very small and fragile looking part of the wildlife. The small ears and long tail flinched around and it ran faster through the destroyed surroundings. A loud crack snapped through the air and moments later a huge part of one ship landed on the ground, burying the small creature under it. No more sounds than the soft crackling, until the dust on the metal object fell off, slowly departing into the air. Again the object moved, as if it shivered, before it started to move upwards. Almost slothful and without any motivation stopped it from time to time. It took a while before the reason for this movement was visible. A slender chestgem hold it up and looked around, blinking the dust away, he slowly moved it above his head, to put it next to himself. The small creature crawled up his chest and sniffed around, before jumping down and running away. It seemed as if he was in more danger than expected.. A brief clearing of someones throat made him twitch around. A calm glance met his. Blue eye met his silver ones. "Ah a golden Fool." He kept quiet, just staring at the stranger. The flames licked over the Stone he sat on, while he looked over the chest gem. His right eye hade a yellow gem in it, but it was hard to tell what he was. "I would love to know what happened here, Fool. Are you able to tell me by yourself?" His glance wandered over the place and coming back to him with the last words. "Aurum and nobody should stay here. They could come back." The chestgem wanted to start walking, but was stopped by the Stranger, who jumped down in front of him. "Don't play the pronoun game with me, Aurum. Whoever was here, I finished them off and who I mean with whoever is obvious. The aedicat." "You...you finished them off?" Aurum stared at him in surprise. "All of them. They were too busy digging through this garbage." "How? I mean..there were so many. They all jus-" "Silent!" A finger on his lips stopped him from talking and he watched as the Stranger looked around. His tail twitched around, his eye was focused on his surroundings and then he just disappeared. Aurum stumbled backwards and looked around. He was gone. or was he? It took not long to take him out. Rikker slowly moved his finger over the unevenly shaped cube gem and smiled. A golden Fool indeed. He sucked it into his hand and looked around. Another gem was around here, he knew it. But it had a weak signature. This Aurum was at least a rare gem for his taste, but what was the use. The more the better. He slowly walked around the ship. Always concentrated on finding this signature. With a bit luck the gem wouldn't use their lightform. It was easier to obtain them that way. Rikker flinched the moment he heared a pain filled sobbing. The gem was in their lightform. Such a disappointment. But now he was indeed curious why this gem was crying. Of course the scene implied a reason, but no no, why should they? It took a while to find where the gem was, but after getting rid of the Metal parts above them there was nothing stopping him from getting his treat. He looked into the dark between the metal and the stones and flinched in the next second, due to a sudden bright light. A moment later, while he rubbed his eye, it was gone again. Rikker blinked and looked into the small space between it all. Now he slowly could see what happened there. A greyish blue pearl sat in the dirt. Their body was covered in bruises and cuts. Again they started to glow, now rikker could cover his eye fast enough. He blinked and looked at them again. Nothing healed, just more tears and slowly the gem seemed to notice him. They stared at each other. She wouldn't be a treat. Not today.
