"Trick or treat!

The two people said happily, waving at the neighbor looking confused at them, perhaps because of their ridiculous outfits. Nonetheless, he gave them a few treats. Obviously content, the two walked away, laughing at his odd reaction.

"Did you see his face?" Rod said, dressed up as a normal, school pencil. His head was covered by the 'eraser top', but holes that had his eyes and mouth. His torso and legs had yellow cardboard surrounding them, with holes by sides that were for the arms.

He held a small, grocery bag that was filled with candy and sweets.

"Yep, it was pretty funny," Rika smiled with delight, walking slowly as she gazed at the night sky. Her costume wasn't normal either- just a fluffy panda that had a.... Rikatastic taste to it, or she said earlier.

"Although I think you should've picked out a more random costume, but whatever," Rod pointed out bluntly, avoiding hitting a pole and hastily stuffed some chocolate inside his mouth.

"Pssh. I'm sassy, Rod. I don't need none of yo' sass," she replied, rolling her eyes in amusement.

"Too bad Vivi didn't join us..." Rod sighed with disappointment, fixing his glasses upon his face again. He looked down slightly, closing his eyes.

Rika frowned at his direction, but quickly reformed her smile once she caught another sight. "I don't blame her- but hey, another creepy house!"

In an instant, or perhaps trying to change the topic, he raised his head up in alarm. Smirking, he began to pace faster, eyes lit up in ignorance. "First one gets more candy!"
